Touch the Future, Inc. is a non-profit organization supporting the development and operation of the Concord, NH, McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center (MSDC), through fundraising and other promotional activities. MSDC honors two American space heroes from the “Granite State” – Alan B. Shepard, the first American in space, and Christa McAuliffe, the first teacher in space.

The Phase One opening of the Discovery Center took place in March 2009. This phase includes the completion of construction, Redstone Rocket Plaza, Earth and Planetary Sciences Gallery, Tribute to Two Heroes, Expedition to Mars exhibit, rooftop Observatory, Planetarium Theater, Cosmic Cafe, and gift shop. Phase Two will focus on the Astronomy Gallery that features interactive exhibits about the cosmos, gravity, and universal science concepts. Phase Three, the Aeronautics Wing, will include a flight simulator center with F/A 18E sims, a ground school, and air and spacecraft suspended in the atrium. Phase Four will be the addition of the Next Generation Challenger Learning Center - a space exploration simulation experience.
